The Cape Leopard Trust is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Community Outreach Officer in the Cederberg to perform a predator conflict mitigation and environmental education role within the local farming community. The predator conflict mitigation work will include investigating and documenting livestock depredation incidents in the greater Cederberg region (on subsistence and commercial farms), as well as advising farmers on preventative measures to reduce the risk of livestock losses. The successful candidate will manage four verification officers who will assist with documenting depredation incidents and supporting farmers within their communities.
