POSITION SUMMARY The Climate Irreplaceable Ecosystems intern will support us in creating maps and other key scientific outputs to advance the protection of the places the climate (and we) can't afford to lose. The position requires strong spatial analysis skills, basic knowledge of carbon storage in ecosystems, and the ability to communicate science to diverse audiences, including cross-culturally. The Intern will support Conservation International’s initiative on Climate Irreplaceable Ecosystems, which includes both foundational science and direct implementation through our Field Divisions.
