The Conservation Planning and Policy Manager leads the planning and implementation of Ontario Nature’s Protected Places campaign and works closely with the Director of Conservation and Education on other conservation planning and policy initiatives. This includes a collaborative, multi-year project to protect over 1 million hectares of conservation lands in northern Ontario, working with local, provincial and national organizations, industry leaders, and government decision-makers. The purpose of this position is to protect wild species and their habitats across Ontario through protected areas establishment and sustainable land use planning and policy development.
