Overview

Norfolk Wildlife Trust is the county’s largest environmental charity, committed to the protection and enhancement of Norfolk’s wildlife and wild places.

The Brecks is a unique landscape on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, home to a wide range of specialist plants, invertebrates and birds, some of which are endemic to the area. The Trust owns and manages 20 sites, totalling over 1000ha, in the area including two National Nature Reserves.

We can offer the opportunity to join our Brecks team, to deliver our conservation objectives on some of the County’s premier nature reserves.  The post is based in the heart of Breckland at NWT East Wretham Heath with travel throughout the Brecks and Wissey Valley Living Landscape areas.

We are looking for someone who wants to develop their career in conservation management and already has experience of habitat management on protected sites. You will have a broad range of skills, and a pragmatic and flexible approach to your work. Experience of managing a team of staff and volunteers would be an advantage.

Salary: £22,000 – £25,000 per annum depending on experience
