Champlain Area Trails (CATS) seeks an experienced development professional to lead a regional and  increasingly national effort to secure funds in support of its mission to “make trails and save land” in New York’s Champlain Valley. This is an opportunity to become part of a growing group of staff, board and supporters who are trail makers, land conservationists, nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts committed to providing memorable experiences for the communities, residents, and visitors to the Lake Champlain region.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an annual fundraising plan consistent with the goals and objectives in the annual budget and to complete land conservation projects
  • Collaborate with staff and board to lead an annual app
