We have an opportunity for an experienced policy leader with exceptional negotiation and influencing skills to join our global team, and to develop and implement BirdLife’s ambitious policy agenda. Leading a diverse and multi-located team, and working with support of the Partnership, the Director of Policy will lead the work to influence policy makers to achieve the outcomes of BirdLife’s strategy.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a track record of high-level involvement in management, policy formulation and advocacy. You will have an excellent understanding of international environmental issues, institutions and government affairs, especially those related to biodiversity conservation and climate change. You will have proven skills in negotiation, high level representation, lobbying and public speaking.
