A full-time (35-hours per week, Monday to Friday but occasionally working outside these hours), permanent assistant warden post has become available covering DWT reserves in north and west Dorset, based at DWT’s headquarters near Dorchester. The post-holder will undertake habitat management and estate maintenance work on DWT nature reserves encompassing a variety of habitat types.  Proven experience with chainsaws, brush-cutters and tractors essential, and working with livestock (cattle and sheep) an advantage.  We are looking for an energetic team-worker who will be working mainly with wardens, volunteers and trainees, but occasionally on their own.  Full driving licence essential.
