The position, based in Nome or Kotzebue participates in wildlife education and outreach serving the Division of Wildlife Conservation’s Region 5. You will work with area, regional and statewide program staff and interact with the public on a regular basis. There is occasional travel to communities throughout the region.
We are looking for a candidate that possesses some or all of the following position-specific competencies (If you have any experience with the following, please document these in your application, cover letter and supplemental questions):
  • Professional experience in the environmental, outdoor education, natural history interpretation or wildlife-related education field
  • Knowledge and experience with Alaska’s wildlife and habitat
