Ecology North is looking for a dynamic and creative Education Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will contribute to educating youth and the general public on diverse environmental initiatives in the realms of climate change adaptation and mitigation, local food production, waste reduction, water stewardship and nature appreciation. Our Education Specialist needs to be motivated, highly productive and a self-starter. Your main responsibilities will be to refine existing resources and programs related to youth environmental education, where youth is considered to be those up to age 30, with opportunities to design and develop your own materials, and to create a link between Ecology North’s existing resources and the NWT school curriculum.
