Project Description The Association of Interpreting Guides of the Galapagos National Park (AGIPA) in Ecuador has requested the support of a Peace Corps Response Volunteer (PCRV) to serve as an Environment and Climate Change Educator. In 2005 AGIPA obtained a grant to build and equip a library in the town of Puerto Ayora. The “Library of Galapagos and The World” is the only community library in the entire Archipelago. The library’s activities include workshops on literacy, general education, conservation, mental health, and self-care, and creating an environment conducive to self-research.
