Trees for Survival (TfS) is a Charitable Trust providing an environmental restoration and education programme for primary and secondary school Students. The TfS programme supports students, whanau and local communities on a journey of growing native plants from seedlings at their school and then planting them out along streams and on erosion prone land. Together, they learn the importance of riparian planting for climate action, biodiversity restoration & waterway rehabilitation. The Facilitator is a part-time position, primarily focused in the Hawera and Kaponga communities.
