Forest for Cornwall Project Officers This is an exciting time to be working in the environment sector and Cornwall Council is helping to lead the way locally and nationally. Cornwall Council’s Forest for Cornwall Team is leading on the delivery of an ambitious flagship programme aimed at delivering 8000 hectares of new canopy cover across the county by 2030. This forms part of our local response to the current climate and ecological emergencies and delivers against our strategic priorities as set out in the Council’s Carbon Neutral Action Plan and emerging Local Nature Recovery Strategy.
