An exciting opportunity for someone to deliver high quality forest school programmes across the Trust region, contributing to education programmes and habitat management.

The Education Team at The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester & N. Merseyside have been championing the Forest School movement in the North West since 2009. The Trust is committed to facilitating high quality Forest School programmes to a range of individuals and settings including nurseries, primary, secondary and specialist schools, home-education groups and adults.

The ideal candidate will be a level 3 forest school practitioner passionate about inspiring future forest school leaders and committed to supporting them through their training journey. If you are a qualified forest school leader and keen to take that next step into inspiring the forest school leaders of the future, we want to hear from you. In return we will provide support and training opportunities to support your own development and learning e.g. Award in Education and Training, outdoor first aid, safeguarding and other role specific continuing professional development (CPD).

We offer a friendly and flexible working environment and the chance to make a positive difference for people and wildlife in the North West as well as work alongside a fantastic likeminded workforce. Flexibility with regards to the working hours will be required as this post will involve occasional weekend evening working; however normally the working week will be Monday to Friday.
