This internship revolves around gaining knowledge and hands-on experience with the American Alligator, venomous and non-venomous snakes, a variety of other reptiles, and several other animals. While much of the internship deals with animal care/husbandry and educating the public, interns will be exposed to and expected to participate in various park functions. These include but are not limited to enclosure maintenance, janitorial duties, landscaping, working in retail, construction, customer service, and any other task that is part of how a park runs.
