The Development Director is responsible for leading all fundraising for Alaska Wildlife Alliance (AWA) to support our organization operations and wildlife conservation programs. The position develops, implements and monitors a comprehensive fundraising plan to expand philanthropic support for the organization including identifying and strengthening relationships with philanthropic partners, actively pursuing and managing corporate and individual contributions, fostering strong donor stewardship, and seeking, applying for and managing grant funding. Additionally, this position plans two fundraising events each year.
