About the role

The goal of the Groups Field Assistant is to support the delivery of world-leading groups programs in country, by focusing on participant experience

Role and responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Program Manager and Co-ordinator  in the running of group programs.
  • Assisting with project work including planning sessions
  • Managing the groups on a day to day basis, ensuring they have a positive experience
  • Interacting with local partners for certain activities
  • Delivering presentations and training relevant to the project activities
  • Acting as an enthusiastic role model for participants  and providing guidance and mentorship
  • Working with the team to ensure the program operates to a high standard and all health and safety protocols are followed

About you

Professional skills and experience:

  • Prior experience running/ managing participants on group or individual service or adventure programs desirable
  • Qualifications in one of the following: Emergency first response, Mountaineer, Wilderness Safety or equivalent
