Seeking a highly motivated, conservation-minded biological technician to assist in large scale habitat restoration and botanical projects on Camp Pendleton and throughout San Diego County, California. Successful applicants will conduct native habitat restoration techniques including but not limited to: implementation of non-native plant control, monitoring and surveying native species, identifying and mapping plant communities, collecting and spreading native seeds, and the construction of out-planting sites. Eradication, suppression, reduction, and management of invasive plant species will be implemented by chemical (herbicide) and manual methods in sensitive natural areas.
