Scope and Purpose of Work

The Restoration Technician will participate in implementing a variety of habitat restoration projects across aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems in Northeast Michigan, with a focus on the 6 inner forested counties of our 12-county service area. Working as part of the overarching Stewardship Team, this dynamic position will include controlling invasive plant species, completing large scale vegetation inventories, and restoring rare and sensitive habitat types to benefit native plant and wildlife species. This position may also include planting native species, collecting stream/river data, trail maintenance and participating in providing outreach/education to the general public.
