MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB To supervise and deliver day-to-day maintenance and management of biodiversity, countryside sites, parks and green spaces. To assist the Countryside Manager in overseeing the management of other sites of high conservation value elsewhere in the Borough. To deliver the service through the management of volunteers and through the management of directly employed staff.  To ensure that all work conforms to idverde’s health and safety policy and procedures. To ensure designated sites are managed to an appropriate management plan.  To ensure work is accurately planned and delivered to programme, achieving the performance standards to which idverde has committed.  To assist the Countryside Manager in the delivery of a high quality service in the borough.
