JOB DESCRIPTION RESPONSABILITIES The Communications Assistant will support the IUCN Brazil Country Office in managing Communications activities according to IUCN’s communications guidelines and procedures, especially regarding two projects: Rio Doce Panel (80%) and Local Protected Areas (20%). SPECIFIC DUTIES 1. Content creation – writing and editing • Produce high-quality written content including press releases, news stories, features, blogs, speeches, policy briefs and talking points in Portuguese, English or Spanish. • Commission, follow-up, edit and proofread content. • Work with colleagues throughout the Secretariat to gather and process content for use in various outputs (eg op-eds, speeches, web stories, etc). • Fact check, proofread and ensure quality and acc
