The North Shore Land Alliance is a nationally-accredited land trust formed to protect and preserve, in perpetuity, the green spaces, farmlands, wetlands, groundwater and historical sites of Long Island’s north shore for the enhancement of quality of life and benefit of future generations. The Land Alliance seeks a dynamic, organized individual who loves the outdoors and can inspire volunteers by leading them in, primarily, stewardship activities at our preserves but also in the office and at fundraising events. The successful candidate will, in addition, conduct outreach to recruit new volunteers and regular communications with all our volunteers, while working with staff to establish project priorities and relationships with existing volunteers.
