Lichfield District Council is looking to appoint an Assistant Ecologist to help protect and enhance the wealth of internationally, nationally and locally important species and habitats within the district. We are looking for an effective and enthusiastic person to review minor planning applications, undertake ecological surveys and assist in the future delivery of ecological work within the Lichfield District and wider region, which includes part of the Cannock Chase AONB. Working within the Ecology Team, you should be able to assist in providing ecological advice and support development management and developers on the ecological implications of proposed minor developments, and complete phase 1 habitat surveys for potential biodiversity offsetting schemes on Lichfield District Coun
