SUMMARY Provides support to the Fisheries Biologist and Natural Resources Department by planning and participating fieldwork, research, experimental fish rearing, data collection, management, and analysis and all aspects of the Cisco Rehabilitation Program. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Fieldwork and Laboratory  Conduct fisheries surveys on Lake Michigan using a variety of gear types (gill nets, seines, trawls, neuston nets, hydroacoustics equipment).  Collect, manage, and analyze biological data (sex, age, maturity, spawning condition, diet, health status) of harvested fish.  Analyze scale, fin and/or otolith samples for age determination.  Transport and operate Tribal research vessels.  Download an
