An opportunity has arisen for a Local Nature Recovery Officer who will take the day to day lead on the production and implementation of the Local Nature Recovery Strategy for County Durham. The post is required for 3 years. Some of the main duties and responsibilities are:-
  • To support and facilitate the work of the County Durham Partnership’s Ecological Emergency Board.
  • To engage with colleagues, partner organisations and elected Members on matters related to the production and implementation of the Local Nature Recovery Strategy.
  • To devise (and support others to devise) and secure support for projects and programmes which would promote nature recovery in the county.
