The Role: Worcestershire County Council is seeking a Local Nature Recovery Strategy Officer to join our growing Ecology and Environmental Policy Team. The development of a Local Nature Recovery Strategy is an exciting time for nature conservation in Worcestershire, home to the Malvern Hills and Commons, the Wyre Forest, the extensive floodplains of the Rivers Severn and Avon, as well as a large proportion of England’s remaining lowland meadows and traditional orchards. This full-time post will lead the development and implementation of the LNRS to help secure nature’s recovery across the county.
