Overall Purpose of Role The Bird (or Ornithological) Warden is one of two posts administered and managed by the Manx Wildlife Trust (MWT) on behalf of Manx National Heritage (MNH). The principle responsibility of the Ornithology Warden is to maintain the Bird Observatory operations on the site, including all bird netting, trapping and ringing operations, bird recording and information dissemination. In addition, the Ornithology or Bird Warden will help the Estate Warden with general maintenance of the facilities.
