Position summary: The Grant Writer is responsible for writing proposals for both unrestricted operating revenue and restricted projects and for submitting timely and accurate reports for all existing grant-funded projects. Roles and Responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to: Prepare, submit, and manage grant proposals to foundation, government and corporate sources. Write, edit and proofread proposals, and reports to foundation, corporate and government funders. Conduct research and generate letters of inquiry and concept papers to prospective funding entities. Research, identify, respond, and track public and private grant opportunities. Research and identify funding opportunities based on funding needed, location, and project/program.
