The National Biodiversity Network Trust is a charitable organisation with a membership that shares biological data and information. The NBN membership includes, many of the UK’s largest wildlife charities and NGO’s, Local Record Centres, government agencies, research institutions, botanic gardens and the public and most of the UK’s national biological recording schemes and societies. To date, over 220 million records have been shared within the NBN, via our digital data sharing infrastructure, the NBN Atlas, which is still in an early phase of development.
