JOB DESCRIPTION We're seeking an experienced audio producer who can make captivating, original content for our award-winning, flagship podcast, Overheard at National Geographic. The producer will work closely with a Senior Editor, Senior Producer,and the show's Hosts to develop and write episodes. He or she must have be able to make complex ideas understandable and approachable. He/she should be creative, curious, driven, and a rigorous journalist. Responsibilities: Develop narrative arcs for sort-form, weekly podcast; works closely with Senior Producer and Senior Editor to develop episodes. Episodes of Overheard at Nat Geo. Participate in all stages of the production process, including research, reporting, pitching, interviewing, cutting tape, scripting, editing, and mixing. Episo
