This position is a Park Ranger, GS- 0025-7 working in Hobe Sound, Florida for the Nathaniel P. Reed Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge.
This is a temporary position expected to last 1040 hours but may be extended up to a total of 1 year.
Responsibilities
As a Park Ranger your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develop interpretive materials such as pamphlets, signs and exhibits, posters, temporary displays, flyers/handouts, trail guides, brochures.
- Ensure all equipment, exhibits and facilities are in working order and available to the public at all times.
- Apply knowledge of biology, the environment, and natural resources to develop interpretive exhibits and materials, such as interpretive sign
