To deliver post-release monitoring coordination, ecological impact monitoring and the community engagement objectives of the Pine Marten Reintroduction project in the Forest of Dean. Working with project partners to secure project legacy and ensure successful project delivery and closure.

Outline of main responsibilities

  • Work with the project partners and volunteers to continue monitoring the recovery of pine martens within Gloucestershire and surrounding counties.
  • Embed pine marten monitoring, recovery and population expansion in partner organisations and landscape scale projects, ensuring the long-term success of the project.
  • Collate and manage monitoring data on the ecological and engagement outcomes of the project.
