Gwent Wildlife Trust was established in 1964 and is one of 5 Wildlife Trusts in Wales and 45 in the UK, all independent charities that collaborate closely as part of a movement for a Wilder Future. This includes national campaigns, such as 30DaysWild and Action for Insects, partnership projects, such as Stand for Nature Wales and presents many opportunities personal and professional development, networking, mentoring and support for Wildlife Trust staff. Sitting within the Fundraising and Communications team, the Projects and Grants Officer will work closely across the senior team (SMT) to secure and grow grant-funding for nature's recovery in Gwent.
