RFUK is leading a DfID-funded consortium project to develop an integrated approach for the development of community forests in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), in coordination with other international and local NGOs, donors, and DRC civil society. The postholder will have the overall responsibility for coordinating RFUK's Community Forests project in DRC. As a member of the programmes team, s/he will participate in the development and implementation of the programmes strategy, and especially of its community forests planning component. The postholder will liaise closely with our partner organisations in the DRC. S/he will be bilingual in English and French and will be required to spend up to 16 weeks of the year overseas.
