Purpose of job Working in a team of three and in partnership with the community, the ranger will maintain and enhance the Town Council’s Green Spaces, both as public amenities and for their conservation value. The role requires significant levels of physical activity. This role requires the post holder to work some evenings and/or weekends, for which time off in lieu may be taken in accordance with the needs of the Council. The core tasks for each of the ranger roles are the same, but each ranger will have a lead role in a specific area – for this position the focus is on maintenance.
