In this key role you will ensure users of the marine environment are educated on marine protection law and undertake law enforcement intervention. A new international airport now offers a weekly scheduled flight from Johannesburg. Engaging with local fishermen and other users of the marine environment to improve understanding, change behaviour and develop a culture of compliance, you will monitor and enforce activities in respect of protected marine species and their habitats and the release of pollutants and waste into the marine environment.
