The South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) requires a motivated individual with proven ability in using science and technology effectively and critically to collect, measure, process, analyse, display interpret, disseminate, utilise, evaluate and manage geographically related and spatially referenced information. The incumbent will be responsible for developing innovative GISc technology and applications fulfilling the role of data analysis and interpretation, together with data acquisition, management and visualisation/mapping.
