Summary

The post is a permanent 6-7 months seasonal contract working April to September-October. 1 full time position-37 hours per week. Candidates home based in South Kent & East Sussex. From an approved home-based location, the successful candidate(s) will organise and conduct a statutory inspection programme of honeybee colonies, within a geographically defined area, for bee diseases and pests currently the subject of EU or UK statutory regulations, e.g., foul brood, small hive beetle and Tropilaelaps sp., as directed and supervised by the Regional Bee Inspector, carrying out subsequent enforcement actions where necessary.
