Individuals are needed to assist with the white-tailed deer management program. This position works closely with the Natural Resource Specialists and the Mentor Police Department in completing deer culling duties. This position is responsible for collecting and maintaining data throughout the duration of the deer program, as well as completing other deer culling activities, setting up tree stands, tagging deer, and transporting harvested animals. A Bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled college student in a related field of study is preferred. Hours of work required will vary. Must have a valid driver’s license and experience using ATV equipment and trailers is preferred. Must be able to work a varied schedule which may include evening and weekend hours comprised of outdoor activities
