This position, and the NWF International Program, focus on deforestation and conversion of vulnerable habitats around the world, which drive both the climate and biodiversity crises. We are concentrating on commodities causing the most environmental harm, which are often traded or financed by US companies or exported to the US or Europe. Working with partners globally we support responsible, commodity supply chains and effective global commitments like the Paris Agreement on Climate Change. Through these international efforts, NWF is able to foster private sector supply chain transparency and document results that help meet the goals of helping conserve wildlife and facilitating durable climate solutions.
