Throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, the Senior Director establishes the vision, goals and strategic direction for national park protection campaigns and community engagement, anticipating and addressing key issues affecting the parks and their larger landscapes. They collaborate on all fundraising activities, including major donors and foundation proposals. They foster productive relationships among Mid-Atlantic staff and NPCA colleagues, and with the media, policy leaders and decision makers including National Park Service leadership, other federal and state agencies, elected officials at all levels, and conservation, preservation, environmental justice groups, gateway community leaders and other stakeholders.
