To provide specialist biodiversity advice on planning applications, planning policy and related consultations; and to help the Council to meet its Biodiversity Duty, in accordance with the Council’s core values and service standards. Key Responsibilities The post holder will be:  responsible to the Team Manager who is in turn responsible for the post holder’s health and safety, training and development.  expected to lead and/or contribute to a range of projects and build relations with both internal and external partners in order achieve specified outcomes, but will not have direct authority over those involved.  Oversee the day to day work of volunteers on a project by project basis.
