Lead one of the nation’s premier programs in spill prevention, preparedness and response to protect Washington’s environment from oil spills and hazardous materials by formulating and implementing policy, procedures, guidelines, and rules for oil handling facilities, marine vessels, pipelines, rail, and emergency response to spills of all types in all of Washington's 39 counties.
