Job Description

This position performs duties as a regional staff forester/woodland ecologist within the Urban and Community Forestry (U&CF) Program. This position is responsible for delivery of state and national urban & community forestry initiatives in central Texas through technical assistance and educational programs that promote and conserve the social, economic and environmental benefits of trees, forests, woodlands and other related natural resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership to communities in the Central Texas Region to assist them in developing sustainable community forestry programs.
  • Deliver education, outreach and technical assistance to municipal tree managers and other stakeholder
