Now Hiring: Summer Crayfish Field Technicians (2) Project Scope: The Missouri Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit is hiring technicians to assist with graduate field research on the invasion of the Woodland Crayfish and changes in the distribution of two endemic crayfish species in the upper Saint Francis River basin. This research will inform future management plans for the recovery of the imperiled Saint Francis River Crayfish and Big Creek Crayfish. Job Description: Technicians will gain experience with a variety of field methods and tools (seines, minnow traps, GPS, water quality meters) while collecting crayfish distributional data in Ozark streams in southeast Missouri.
