This is a full-time 3-year term salaried position with American Bird Conservancy working to reduce trash accumulation on coastal beaches and to launch a coordinated education and outreach campaign to engage the local communities, stakeholders, and natural resource managers whose lands are impacted by trash and plastic pollution. Coastal bird conservation and impacts from trash and plastic (and other threats) will be a primary focus.   The Coastal Outreach Coordinator will interact with local stakeholders on a regular basis, including local governments and municipalities, state and federal agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders.
