This is an exciting opportunity to join Natural England’s NNR team in Cornwall. Based on the Lizard NNR, the role will be part of a wider team that manage Natural England’s three National Nature Reserves in Cornwall. NNRs play an increasingly important role as places where people can connect with nature and contribute to the recovery of nature in the surrounding landscape. Our NNR management work is transforming as we adapt to using new information sources to guide management and work beyond the NNR boundaries into the surrounding landscape. We look to take advantage of different income streams to support our delivery, make more effective use of contractors and position our NNRs as focal points for connecting people with nature.
