The Tlicho Government is the steward of the lands within the Tlicho designated areas. The Tlicho people have strong cultural ties to the land, and ensuring responsible and sustainable environmental management is of utmost importance. The Conservation and Protected Areas Project Coordinator is responsible for advancing and coordinating Tlicho Government conservation initiatives including conservation areas planning, project operations management, research and community engagement. The successful applicant will have a diploma or degree in a related area combined with:
  • field work experience and experience in conservation planning, natural resource and/or environmental management
  • a strong understanding of land and resource management
  • knowledge of cons
