Atoll Volunteers Information
We are a young and vibrant organisation of local and international volunteers based in the Maldives. We offer a range of volunteering programmes and are dedicated to securing the most exciting and beneficial projects for our volunteers. We do this whilst ensuring as much attention and funding as possible is directed into our local community. We believe that volunteering should not be “all work and no play”! The most rewarding volunteer programmes allow you to enjoy the work whilst giving back to the local community.
Our community is desperate for your help! In return, we promise to welcome you with a warm heart, show you the best the “real” Maldives has to offer, and support you in any way that we can. We may not be able to offer the luxuries of a five-star resort, but the natural beauty of the Maldives can be experienced everywhere! Idyllic beaches, uninhabited islands and some of the world’s most beautiful coral reefs (complete with astonishing marine life) are yours to explore. Accommodation is provided in our volunteer houses which are modern, simple and clean.
Our mission is to ensure that you leave the Maldives having experienced the warmth and friendliness of our people, and the beauty of our islands and marine life. We hope you come to love this little island we call home!
We have extensive experience placing volunteers in exciting projects! Our volunteers have undertaken various activities such as turtle conservation, teaching, community engagement, sports coaching and much, much more.
We strive to provide the best volunteering experience in the Maldives and offer a range of customised placements organised in cooperation with our marine centre, schools, hospitals, sporting teams and local community.
