Huron Pines mission is to enhance Michigan's natural resources to ensure healthy water, protected places, and vibrant communities. Huron Pines is looking to place motivated and aspiring natural resource professionals in six-month positions with various conservation entities across the state, including the Michigan Department of Natural Resources,  U.S Fish and Wildlife Service, Land conservancies, Museums, and nonprofits.
