A Brief Overview
Under the general supervision of the Senior Airfield Operations Manager, the Wildlife Biologist implements various day-to-day activities associated with CFR Part 139.337 Wildlife Hazard Management at Detroit Metro (DTW) and Willow Run (YIP) Airports. The Wildlife Biologist is responsible for carrying and/or enforcing the tasks/duties/requirements as prescribed by the Wildlife Hazard Management Plan.
What you will do
- Supervises and conducts daily wildlife observation activities of the Airfield Operation Department. Oversees and maintains the appropriate record keeping duties along with reporting Wildlife Strike Information to the FAA National Wildlife Strike Database
